The Bethel Historical Society is planning a day-long event with several groups of American Revolutionary War re-enactors to bring history to life on June 8th.
There will be military encampments, tactical exercises, firelock shooting, a firing canon, competitions, camp life demonstrations, horses and social activities, as well as music, dancing, marching and a presentation by Bethel Town Historian Patrick T. Wild. The Boy Scouts will present Passport To Bethel which will provide an opportunity to talk with scouts and learn about Bethel's unique historic structures.
