Dozens of parents, students, friends and guests came out to hear local dignitaries, taste samples and cheer the ribbon cutting for Workspace's new commercial-grade kitchen, 2 and a half years in the making and the center-piece of their new Kitchen Learning Lab.
"This is phase two of a four phase program to create a self sustained city that feeds itself here at Workspace" said Executive Director Cath Fraise.
Facilities Director Paul Merchant also served as Chef de Cuisine, with Michelle Brigante as his Sous Chef and a half dozen student ambassadors serving guests.
Workspace is located at 16 Trowbridge Drive.
