 The Bethel Police Blood Drive in support of Detective O'Farrell's 12 year old daughter Maddie on Wednesday was well attended despite the heavy snowfall, 44 people came out and donated platelets, plasma and red cells, enough for 132 patients.
Online registrations were so large that a second drive will be held on May 6. Anyone looking to donate should visit redcrossblood.org and use code BethelPD.
