The Bethel Community Gazette has reached out to the candidates from major parties for State Representative and State Senate.

In 2018, more than ever, it's vital that our readers vote, and that our readers are fully aware of where the state office candidates stand on a range of local issues.

We asked these candidates a broad range of questions, covering children, the economy, environment, health, infrastructure, municipalities, non-profits, public safety and, of course, taxes.
